TIP Maintenance, Inc. began in business in 1973 as a department of Turken Industrial Properties, performing general maintenance on 1.5 million square feet of industrial property owned by the Turkens. In 1992, Meyer and Kathy Turken incorporated TIP Maintenance, Inc. as a separate company. Today over 85% of the work done by TIP Maintenance is for unrelated third party commercial, retail and industrial developers, owners and property managers.

Meyer Turken has been in the real estate development and maintenance business since 1973. His maintenance background goes back to days with his family hardware store, on through Handy Dan's and Angel's up to the present. Kathy Turken has been in commercial real estate since 1976; her maintenance experience started when she worked for Hanson Pipe and Supply in 1971.

TIP Maintenance, a drug free environment, is insured and bonded, and is in good standing with State Fund Workman's Compensation insurer.

TIP Maintenance holds three Arizona contractors licenses: B-1 General Commercial Contractor, L-34 Painting Contractor, L-42 Roofing Contractor.
